About the role:
We are looking for an Event Technology Consultant to join our Delegate Management Services team.
This is a technical role, supported by the Senior Solution Consultant and Solutions Manager, which will involve planning and delivery of the technical delegate management (DM) solutions to include but not limited to; on-site technology hardware/software, registration systems, apps, and other innovative event technologies to deliver first-class customer service and project delivery which meets and exceeds client expectations.

As an Event Technology Consultant you will:

  • Be the 'go-to' knowledge holder on registration builds, mobile apps, and delegate management technologies including project and system set up, configuration, websites and communications and integration with a view to become a solutions product expert
  • Support with the build, configuration and delivery of projects using third-party technology and in-house equipment.
  • Partner with suppliers to deliver onsite IT equipment across multiple projects
  • Test and understand capabilities of prospective technologies and support with implementation
  • Troubleshoot Delegate Management solution technology issues and escalating when necessary.
  • Assist with identifying appropriate technical solutions based on the project brief for both registration websites and onsite.

  • Coordinating and managing cross-functional projects with ease.
  • Creating clear and concise documentation to ensure smooth transitions.
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders and clients.
  • Navigating and troubleshooting technology solutions effectively.
  • Keeping financial projects on track and within budget.
You Might Also Have:
  • Experience in the event tech or project management industry.
  • A knack for understanding and implementing technical solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills for monitoring budgets and performance.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change.
  • Previous experience working with third-party suppliers or vendors.
You should know:
  • This is a hybrid role that requires 2 days a week in either the Fleet office
  • Our standard working hours are 9.00 - 17.30 with an hour break
  • You must have the right to work in the UK
  • You must have the ability and want to travel in the UK and Overseas
