Comedy for a Cure returns for its second year, bringing together top comedy talent and a passionate audience in support of Brain Tumour Research. This year's event will take place at the Nottingham Lakeside Arts Centre, part of the University of Nottingham, making it a desirable venue due to its strong connections with the university and the upcoming Nottingham Research Centre, set to open in 2026.
CAN YOU LEND US YOUR SUPPORT AS A VOLUNTEER?
In order to help this amazing fundraising event run smoothly, we are seeking a small team of volunteers to lend their support for the evening.
Are you polite, reliable and have strong communication skills? Are you free on the evening of the 28th November and able to get to The Lakeside Arts Centre in Nottingham?
If you have answered YES to these questions, would you like to help us?
The types of support we are looking for include
Assisting with the set-up and breakdown of the event including setting up the raffle and merchandise stand.
Checking in guests at the door.
Selling raffle tickets and merchandise during the event.
Supporting guests with queries and providing general assistance.
Helping to obtain raffle prizes, if possible, prior to the event.
Using a payment app to process payments and handle cash securely.
