Events Operations Lead
on behalf of a well-established events and banqueting company that operates across prestigious venues in London and the surrounding areas.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a hospitality professional who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys delivering exceptional food and beverage experiences. You will play a key role in managing a diverse portfolio of events including corporate functions, weddings, private celebrations, and street food operations.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of catering services across multiple event types
Lead and support on-site teams to ensure smooth event delivery and exceptional service standards
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all operational requirements are met
Assist with food preparation and service where required
Maintain compliance with food hygiene and health & safety standards
Drive to and from event locations using company vehicles
Manage event set-up and breakdown, including handling equipment and logistics
Adapt to changing demands and provide solutions in real time
Key Requirements:
Previous management or supervisory experience in the hospitality sector
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
Full UK driving licence (held for a minimum of 3 years, with no more than 3 penalty points)
Passion for food and willingness to assist in the kitchen when needed
Physical capability to handle event equipment and venue setups
Excellent customer service skills - both written and verbal
Flexibility and a hands-on approach to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
Desirable:
Knowledge of fine dining and silver service
Culinary background or experience with food preparation
