About the role: Events and Schools Partnership Executive

Activate Learning are now looking for an Events and Schools Partnership Executive to join our Events and Engagement team, working across our Oxfordshire colleges.

In this exciting and highly rewarding role, you will support in the organisation and running of on-campus events across our campuses in the Oxfordshire region, allowing our courses to come to life for potential learners.

You will also support our Schools Partnership team in building and maintaining effective relationships with our local schools and stakeholders across the education landscape to ensure potential learners are aware of our comprehensive course offer. This will involve attending school assemblies, workshops and career evening events to deliver engaging presentations and widen access to information, advice and guidance that supports learners on their next steps.

Our Marketing department is a broad, collaborative team comprising of PR and Communications, Events and School Partnership, and Design and Digital Marketing. Being a large team, there are opportunities to grow within the role and we hope you will have a transformational career journey with us. In addition to the role being incredibly varied and rewarding, there are many ways in which to continuously develop your skillset and knowledge base through getting involved with and taking the lead on events and partnership-related projects across the group.

Permanent, full-time role, working 37 hours per week

Salary: \xc2\xa328,627 per annum

Location: Flexibility to be based at City of Oxford College or Banbury & Bicester College, with opportunities of working from home and regular travel to other sites and local schools/stakeholders.

What do you need to be a successful Events and Schools Partnership Executive at Activate Learning?

We are looking for someone with enthusiasm and a great team working ethic, with strong communication skills and the ability to deliver engaging and interactive presentations and group sessions.

  • Experience of working in an educational environment or with young people is essential
  • You will have excellent customer relationship skills
  • Experience in an events or marketing role is desirable
  • Good knowledge of the 14+ education environment is desirable - full training will be provided
There will be some travel within the role, so a clean driving license and use of a car is essential.
