This role is responsible for planning and delivering internal and external events within the medical sector, with a strong focus on our UK and international Arthrolab workshops. You'll manage day?to?day coordination, ensuring smooth delivery of high?quality events that meet customer needs and compliance standards. We're looking for someone organised, proactive, and customer?focused, with the creativity and attention to detail needed to ensure every event runs flawlessly.
Duties & Responsibilities
Coordinate 200+ UK Arthrolab workshops and up to 50 overseas bookings across EMEA.
Manage 250-300 events annually using in?house event management software, ensuring full compliance with internal and industry standards.
Work closely with sales, medical education, and events teams to manage bookings and agendas.
Arrange travel and accommodation for staff and guests in line with company policy.
Handle registrations, invitations, meeting room bookings, and event communications.
Support all pre?event logistics (paperwork, H&S, risk assessments, compliance, budgets, signage, badges, collateral, travel, on?site setup).
Provide post?event analysis, including feedback and reporting.
Offer reception, office, and general event support as required.
Requirements
Strong MS Office skills; Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an advantage.
Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously, working independently, reliably, and to deadlines.
Excellent communication, teamwork, motivation, and attention to detail.
Customer?service mindset.
Higher?level education in hospitality, event management, or similar, plus experience in a fast?paced events venue.
Desired
Experience in an in?house events venue.
Passion for customer service and event coordination.
Understanding of marketing and promotional techniques.
Knowledge of medical compliance.
Experience with event management software.
Travel
Less than 5%, national only.
