Duties

Prepare and serve a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks Interact with customers, take orders, and offer drink recommendations based on their preferences. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, using basic maths skills. Monitor customer behaviour to ensure responsible alcohol service and compliance with licensing laws. Stay calm and organised during busy periods, ensuring high service standards are maintained. Help with restocking supplies as needed and let management know if there are any inventory shortages.

Skills

Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is highly desirable. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during peak hours. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Proficiency in bartending techniques, including mixing drinks and serving cocktails. Excellent hospitality skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Basic maths skills for accurate cash handling and order processing. A willingness to help colleagues and contribute positively to the team environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within hospitality is preferred. Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Friendly and approachable with great interpersonal skills. Basic maths skills for handling cash and managing tabs. A valid personal licence for serving alcohol is essential for this role.
