We are seeking a highly motivated and hands-on Events Coordinator to join our dynamic events team. Reporting to the Events Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring every event runs smoothly. You will work across a variety of events, from corporate away days, weddings, conferences & sporting events where you will be supporting the Events Manager and organisers in delivering exceptional experiences that exceed client expectations. This is a fast-paced, varied role where no two days are the same. You'll need proven experience in events, a passion for creating unforgettable moments, and the confidence to handle challenges as they arise.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and assist with event setups & breakdown, including room layouts, audio-visual equipment, and catering arrangements.
On the day event coordination ensuring events run on time and are meeting our usual high standards.
Maintain a clean and organised environment before, during, and after events.
Provide 5-star customer service to clients, guests, and stakeholders.
Support the Events Manager in delivering seamless, successful events.
Handle last-minute changes and resolve on-the-day issues quickly and effectively.
Communicate professionally and effectively with senior management, food & beverage staff, clients, and members of the public.
Manage time effectively to accommodate early mornings, late nights, and weekend work.
Ensure all events are prepared and presented to an exceptional standard.
Conduct event handovers and ensure smooth operational transitions.
About You
Proven experience in delivering events.
Confidence to work independently and take ownership when required.
Passion for creating exceptional and memorable event experiences.
Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Flexibility to work weekends, early mornings, and late nights.
