Reporting to: NCW Campaign Director/Director of Marketing & Communication
Location: Remote in the UK
Salary: \xc2\xa325,000 - \xc2\xa327,000 (pro-rata)
Job type: Fixed Term Contract, December \xe2\x80\x93 March

Neurodiversity Celebration Week (NCW) is a worldwide initiative that challenges stereotypes and misconceptions about neurological differences. It aims to transform how neurodivergent individuals are perceived and supported by providing schools, universities, and organisations with the opportunity to recognise the many talents and advantages of being neurodivergent, while creating more inclusive and equitable cultures that celebrate differences and empower every individual. The events function is one of the most important elements of the campaign; in 2023 there were over 50,000 registrations across the week-long schedule of 24 free, virtual events. To support the delivery of NCW 2024, Lexxic is seeking a highly motivated candidate to provide valuable support to our NCW Campaign Directors in the delivery of events and administration activities. This role requires an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment; to work closely with the cross-functional team and external partners to administrate, facilitate and deliver the NCW 2024 events plan, whilst also providing valuable administration support across all areas of the campaign. They will ensure we maintain the NCW brand and strive for excellence in everything we do. Key Responsibilities and Accountability
As the key contact for NCW 2024 events, you will own and deliver the NCW 2024 events plan including: Communication

  • Own and manage the events inbox
  • Engage with key stakeholders (including Content Advisory Board) regarding event topics and structure of NCW 2023 events plan
  • Panellist communications and liaison \xe2\x80\x93 including pre-event and post-event communications
  • Manage events promotion (external and with panellists)
  • Write and create event advertising; including pre and post-event communication
  • Explore ways in which we can further promote NCW events to increase engagement with new audiences e.g., Press Releases, outreach and general promotion
  • Work with Lexxic\xe2\x80\x99s marketing team to create social media content and posts in the lead-up, during and post-events
  • Support with event collateral
  • Provide ideas and expertise to improve the NCW event functions that are already in place
Technical:
  • Create and manage events pages on the NCW Wix website
  • Set-up events through HubSpot and Zoom, including reminders etc
  • Final checks on the run up to the event/on the day (e.g., technology, panellists etc) to ensure everything meets standards and runs to plan
  • Manage event recordings
  • Manage on-the-day event functions
  • Co-ordinate with team members to support events
  • Track and analyse events performance
Administration & Other
  • Management of the NCW general inbox
  • Facilitate responses to enquiries that come into the general inbox
  • Support the management of the NCW social media accounts (LinkedIn, Twitter & Instagram)
  • Contribute to the production of tactical materials for NCW (from conception to completion) including collateral, web, advertising, publications and newsletters, email campaigns, events, social media, public relations, and other projects as requested
  • Website administration including content creation and website updates
  • Support the NCW Campaign Director with campaign CRM administration, when necessary
Essential Skills
  • Relevant work experience in an events coordination / management focused role
  • Experience with co-ordinating/managing events (ideally virtual)
  • Strong understanding of marketing campaigns
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational skills with a professional attitude
  • Detail-oriented and meticulous
  • Strong analytical and customer insight skills partnered with a creative mind
  • Good at managing many tasks and presenting information succinctly
  • Ability to show initiative and be proactive
  • Problem solving ability
  • Calm under pressure
Desirable Skills
  • Experience with Hubspot (or similar) CRM
  • Experience with Wix Website tools
  • Experience with Canva design tool
  • Good understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite/G-Drive
  • Basic video editing capabilities
  • Fluent in English with good written and verbal communication skills
