Aramark UK have an exciting opportunity for an

Events Coordinator

to join our friendly team at

Sussex County Cricket Club





Sussex County Cricket Club is the world's oldest professional sports club. Our historic venue hosts thrilling cricket matches, including T20 clashes and County Championship fixtures, as well as large-scale concerts and corporate events.



In this role, you will support with sales coordination and planning of events and matchdays while managing various administrative tasks. If you are seeking an administrative job that offers variety, then this may just be the role for you.



We are offering a competitive salary of 28000 for this full-time position

This role includes but is not limited to:





Organise schedules and book appropriate staff for the matchdays and events Communicate any necessary information regarding matchdays and events to all staff members Aid in the recruitment of new casual employees Support the sales manager with the planning and coordination of any events where required Support in the reporting of forecasted staffing costs, including management, direct/agency staff, transport, accommodation, uniform and expenses for allocated accounts with regards to match days and events Track daily, weekly and monthly audits ensuring all are completed in a timely manner To compile and track all training paperwork in a timely manner Support with note taking for meetings Track absence within the site and work with the wider team to ensure return to work documentation is completed on time, in line with company policy.

Requirements for this role



Essential:





Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders Highly organised and strong administration skills Able to establish and prioritise goals, demonstrating a sense of urgency where required Be approachable and show willingness to aid the department from a supporting function

Desirable:





Previous event and staffing experience Prior knowledge of Food & Beverage or Hospitality sectors and an understanding of the operational skills desired for this department Prior knowledge of HR policies and practices
