Role Introduction:

We are seeking a dynamic Events Executive to join our team on a 12-month fixed contract basis. We need an agile and organised individual to support the planning and delivery of our broad events program. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about events, technology, and delivering memorable experiences. The ideal candidate is able to work in a fast-paced environment, achieving results and meeting deadlines, while also being able to juggle multiple tasks and responsibilities with ease.
What You Will Do:
Plan, execute, and deliver events within OneAdvanced's events portfolio, including virtual events, webinars, third-party trade shows and exhibitions, account-based marketing (ABM) events, customer events. As well as internal events, town halls and conferences. Support the planning and execution of large-scale in-person and hybrid conferences like the OneAdvanced Annual Kick Off. Maximize event impact by delivering high-quality events on time and within budget. Manage event budgets, including creating and processing POs and invoices using NetSuite, and ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported. Use various event technologies, such as, ON24 to deliver our webinar program, Cvent to design virtual events, Marketo and Salesforce to report on event data, and BeeLiked for lead capture. Confidently route event programs using Marketo and Salesforce to automate data collection and through thorough reporting, analyse event data to inform future event strategies and to optimise event ROI. Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders from all levels of the business to develop event concepts, strategies, and budgets. Especially working closely with our wider marketing teams (especially creative, brand, and sector marketing). Develop and maintain relationships with event vendors, suppliers, and partners.

What You Will Have:

Experience:

in a marketing events role, with proven experience in both in person and virtual events. It's a bonus if you have worked in Corporate, B2B, and/or Software environments.

Technical Skills:

Some knowledge of marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, Salesforce) and event platforms (e.g., ON24, Cvent, BeeLiked).

Track Record:

Demonstrated success in delivering impactful events, including lead generation outcomes.

Commercial Acumen:

Understanding of business and commercial challenges.

Communication Skills:

Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation abilities, with confidence interfacing at all management levels.

Creativity and Organisation:

A proactive, creative, and detail-oriented approach to event planning and execution with high attention to detail. Ability to manage several events simultaneously.

Adaptability:

This role is based two days a week in our Birmingham headquarters but have the flexibility to work occasional early mornings, late evenings, or weekends as needed for events, and a willingness to sometimes travel across the UK for live events.
