Overview



We are seeking a highly organised and proactive individual to join our team as our

Events Executive

. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the planning, coordinating and delivery of our diverse range of online and in-person events. You will have the opportunity to work closely with multiple team members in this close-knit team to ensure the smooth execution of all activities.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will collaborate with key stakeholders, including the Chairman and Managing Director (for planning), the Project Lead (for support), and the Content Lead (for content).

Location:

Hybrid working - Home-based, with regular travel required for in-person events and meetings



Contract type:

9-12 months fixed-term contract (maternity cover)



Start date:

is an industry-leading networking and thought-leadership forum serving over 11,000 members from some of the world's most prominent organisations. As part of a small yet impactful team, you'll play a central role in addressing today's pressing cybersecurity challenges through dynamic and engaging events.

Responsibilities



Organising and delivering both virtual and in-person events, including webinars, dinners, roundtables and workshops. Managing event communications and marketing efforts across our members, website and social media platforms. Efficiently handling membership administration, including applications and inquiries, staying on top of the email inbox. Overseeing logistics for venues, catering, speakers and attendees for in-person events. Maintaining CRM and databases for clients, speakers, venues, and other resources. Coordinating regular webinars (usually 1-2/month, occasionally 4-5/month). Attending and running in-person events (approximately 1-2/month, potentially up to 3/month), overseeing tasks such as registration, AV equipment, catering, etc.

A confident, can-do attitude and genuine enthusiasm for event management. Strong organisational and administrative abilities, with a proven track record of multitasking. Clear evidence of strategic thinking and planning skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), with a professional presentation. Sharp attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality work. A proactive, problem-solving mindset. The ability and willingness to work flexible and occasionally long hours to meet event schedules. Resilience and the capability to handle pressure while maintaining a positive outlook. Self-motivation and the ability to work independently to meet deadlines effectively.
