RATE:

21.00 per hour plus holiday pay (6 hour minimum shift)




TERMS:

Non-guaranteed hours on an event by event basis




THE ROLE




London Stadium are looking for Events Logistics Co-Ordinators to join the event day team to assist in delivering world class events and experiences for guests. London Stadium is a multi-purpose venue that is the home of West Ham United Football Club and is also equipped to host concerts, Rugby Union and League, as well as top class athletics and other events.


The successful candidate will be working to support the Events Logistics Manager and Deputy Events Logistics Manager with all logistics requirements for major events. This will include helping the crowd safety team to stock take event day equipment, audit and test equipment, and to put up signage.




Key Responsibiltiies

Your role will include:


Working with the Events Logistics Manager and Deputy Events Logistics Manager to undertake all Crowd Safety logistics requirements for major events Assisting in the movement of any crowd safety items within the stadium Working closely with the crowd safety team on relevant areas of crowd safety and health and safety legislation Helping the crowd safety team put up signage and mobile barriers within the stadium Disposing of stock by using the compactor in conjunction (to dispose if items safely) with Vinci FM and where anything cannot be re used or recycled Stock management and inventory management Stock take of radios, earpieces and all other event day logistical equipment before and after each event Signing out and signing in all crowd safety equipment on event days Audits, cleaning and testing of all equipment making sure all in working order Pre and post event set up Being aware of all health safety and security issues relating to logistics including of special note Manual Handling, Electrical Safety, Working at Height, Noise Regulations. Any other ad-hoc jobs as requested by the Crowd Safety team.

All applicants must be over 18 years of age.


Successful candidates must commit to working 80% of the events at London Stadium. We would ask you to commit to any additional training required such as customer service and online event specific inductions.


This role is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service record check if you do not hold a SIA licence.
