Overview


We are seeking a dynamic and highly organised Event Manager to oversee the planning and execution of various events. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional time management skills and a passion for delivering outstanding guest services. You will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of events, ensuring that every detail is meticulously planned and executed to create memorable experiences for our guests.

Duties



Plan, organise, and manage events from conception through to completion, ensuring all client requirements are met. Liaise with clients to understand their needs and expectations, providing expert advice on event logistics. Coordinate with various vendors, including caterers, decorators, and audiovisual teams to ensure seamless execution. Manage event budgets and timelines effectively while maintaining high standards of quality. Oversee on-site event operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and addressing any issues that arise promptly. Provide exceptional guest services during events, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for attendees. Implement upselling strategies to enhance guest experiences and maximise event potential. Collaborate with fundraising teams when necessary to support charitable events or initiatives.

Experience



Proven experience in event management or a related field, preferably within the hospitality or restaurant sectors. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines. Excellent time management skills, allowing for efficient prioritisation of tasks in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective interaction with clients and team members. A background in fundraising is advantageous but not essential; a willingness to learn is key. Familiarity with hotel operations or hospitality management is beneficial.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 29,000.00-32,000.00 per year

Schedule:

Day shift Every weekend Monday to Friday Night shift Overtime Weekend availability
