As Event Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and delivery of our world-class events while leading and developing a high-performing team. You'll need excellent attention to detail, a calm and focused approach under pressure, and a flair for creative problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities
Ensure the safety and welfare of all event attendees, including staff, guests, contractors, clients, and volunteers
Lead and manage the events team, providing support, direction, and training where required
Oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of events from start to finish
Prepare and manage all relevant event documentation, both pre- and post-event
Maintain and take ownership of the events calendar and scheduling
Ensure smooth day-to-day event operations and solve issues as they arise
Identify opportunities to improve, grow, or diversify our event offering
Represent the company with professionalism, particularly when working with VIP and high-end clients
Skills & Experience
Previous experience managing events and leading a team
Exceptionally organised, with strong attention to detail and time management
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to take initiative and think creatively when solving problems
Calm under pressure and confident working to tight deadlines
Comfortable with Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Word, Excel)
Experience working with premium or luxury brands is desirable
A genuine passion for the outdoors and countryside pursuits - experience or interest in shooting is a bonus

Job Type:
Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
35,000 - 40,000 per year (depending on experience)
Location:
On-site at E.J. Churchill, Lane End, Buckinghamshire (remote working is not available)
Hours of Work:
5 days per week, Monday to Friday with rotated Saturdays, with time off during the week in return. Occasional off-site event work, flexibility is essential around peak event days (time off in lieu provided)
Driving Licence:
Required due to the rural location.
Physical Requirements:
This is a hands-on role involving time outdoors in all weather.
