Job Summary
La Mome London is seeking a dynamic and highly organised Events Manager to lead and deliver the planning, execution, and management of various events, ensuring a seamless experience for all attendees. Ranging between large table bookings, intimate gatherings in our Private Dining Room to large-scale full venue hires, you will be the driving force behind seamless, memorable events.
This role requires a strong background in hospitality and event coordination, with a focus on delivering exceptional guest services. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational and communication skills, along with the ability to upsell services and manage time effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with clients, event planners and external organisations to understand their vision and requirements for each event.
Coordinate with our Maybourne Group partners and internal departments for joint events
Coordinate with the internal stakeholders and the culinary team to design experiences and menus tailored to each event.
Oversee decor, additional requirements, and external supplier arrangements.
Manage budgets and ensure events are executed within financial constraints.
Upsell additional services and products to enhance the overall event experience.
Oversee on-site event operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly from start to finish and meets the high standard of La Mome.
Maintain strong communication with vendors, staff, and clients throughout the planning process.
Conduct post-event evaluations to assess success and identify areas for improvement.
Coordinate with the Reception team to ensure seamless reservation processes.
Foster relationships with local businesses and organisations.
Qualifications
Proven experience in event management, preferably in luxury hospitality or fine dining.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent time management skills to ensure deadlines are met without compromising quality.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise effectively with all stakeholders.
A background in guest services is highly desirable, demonstrating a commitment to customer satisfaction.
Confident in handling VIP guests and high-profile events, comfortable with liasing with media teams if necessary
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with booking/event management systems is a plus
