The Role


We are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and passionate Events Manager to plan and deliver impactful live events featuring our founder and CEO, Satpal Singh. This role will focus on managing all aspects of events, from pre-event planning and ticketing to on-the-day coordination ensuring a seamless and inspiring experience for attendees.

You'll be responsible for overseeing the entire event lifecycle, coordinating volunteers and freelancers, liaising with venues, and ensuring technical and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities



Develop, plan, and manage Nanak Naam events, hosting Satpal Singh in theatres or auditoriums for audiences of 250-500+ people. Liaise with venue management to ensure all requirements (seating, accessibility, technical setup) are met. Oversee freelance videographers, ensuring professional recording, lighting, and audio setup. Coordinate with volunteers to assist with event logistics and smooth operations. Manage event timelines, incorporating PR, promotion, ticketing setup, and audience engagement. Ensure the ticketing system is accurate, user-friendly, and able to handle queries, complaints, and refunds professionally. Work with PR and marketing teams to maximise event visibility and audience turnout. Handle on-the-day event coordination, troubleshooting challenges to deliver a seamless attendee experience.

Requirements (Essential)



Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Excellent communication skills, confident liaising with people from diverse backgrounds (venue staff, volunteers, freelancers, and the public). A problem-solver with attention to detail and a hands-on, proactive approach. Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Desirable (but not essential)



Previous experience in event planning, coordination, or project management. Familiarity with ticketing systems and/or working with venues. Experience overseeing volunteers or freelancers.
