The Growth Company's GC Insight team has an exciting opportunity for an Events & Marketing Executive.
In this role, you will support the planning and delivery of marketing activity, leading on specific workstreams, including organising and managing the events schedule. You will deliver high-quality marketing content in line with industry best practice, while building and managing strong relationships with partners, internal stakeholders, and external suppliers.
You will also take the lead in developing, planning, promoting, and implementing the delivery of our workshops and events programme, whilst providing peer support and upskilling Executives and Apprentices in the wider marketing team.

The role is available on a fixed-term contract through to March 2026
Key Responsibilities:
Work with the group marketing function to generate leads for The Growth Company's portfolio of services, through the delivery of external and internal marketing and communications campaigns.
Take a digital-first approach, delivering a full range of online and social media activities, proactively planning end-to-end digital marketing campaigns, and using suitable tools to track and analyse results.
Develop, plan, promote, and deliver the workshops and events programme, ensuring opportunities to generate new leads, encourage networking, and create business opportunities are maximised.
Write, edit, and deliver high-quality marketing content, campaigns, case studies, and news stories, demonstrating strong copywriting and campaign management skills.
Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, partners, venues, and suppliers, ensuring activities are delivered on time, on budget, and in line with GC's brand guidelines.
Report on campaign evaluation and submit regular KPI reports, providing insights and recommendations to improve future activity.
Contribute to and influence the development of GC's overall marketing and communications plan, introducing fresh thinking and supporting marketing best practice.
Provide peer support to Executives and Apprentices, acting as a mentor and helping to upskill more junior members of the team.
About You:
Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships.
Highly organised, with proven project management skills and the ability to prioritise competing deadlines.
Creative and proactive, with strong copywriting and proofreading skills to a high standard.
Comfortable working independently, showing initiative and a solutions-focused approach.
A collaborative team player, able to support and mentor colleagues while sharing marketing best practice.
Skills & Experience Required:
Experience of working in a creative, multi-channel marketing and communications role in the private or public sector.
Demonstrable results in end-to-end project and campaign management, including planning, delivery, and evaluation.
Strong event management experience, from planning through to delivery.
Experience of content development across digital and offline channels, including excellent copywriting skills.
Practical knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g. Google Analytics, CMS systems, social media, email marketing).
Proven ability to manage relationships with external suppliers, agencies, and partners.
Competence in financial processes such as raising purchase orders and working within budgets.
