Job Description


We are looking for an Events Officer to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised go-getter who can hit the ground running. Promoting and planning events to deliver the College\'s Personal Development programme for its students, you will work closely with the marketing team and student support services to ensure a full and exciting calendar of activity for current and prospective students.

Reporting to the College\'s Marketing and Communications Coordinator, we\'re looking for someone who is enthusiastic and creative in their approach. To succeed, you\'ll need to be an excellent multi-tasker with strong organisational skills. You can look forward to being hands on from day one, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Event planning and execution
  • Student engagement events
  • Championing the \'student voice\'
  • Capturing and collating feedback from students
  • Community engagement activities
  • Build relationships with local businesses to provide leisure opportunities for students
  • Supporting the marketing team\'s event schedule
We\'d like you to have some experience in planning and delivering events, building relationships with external stakeholders and an eye for opportunities to capture social media content.

You should be qualified to degree-level in a related field, we\'re looking for someone with some experience of working in Events but welcome applications from those with transferable skills and the right attitude to succeed.

Given the nature of this role, some events may take place on evenings and weekends and you\'ll need to be available to support during these times.

You\'ll have the full support of a dynamic team and opportunities to bring your ideas to the role. Training and development are at the heart of everything we do so you\'ll be actively encouraged to upskill.
