Kangaroos is entering an exciting period of development and is expanding its team.
We are a Mid Sussex Charity that supports families, providing clubs and activities for people with learning disabilities, including those with complex needs. Over the next 2 years we want to expand our service by 30%, so that we can offer more activities and work with all families that would like to access our service, as we currently have a waiting list of over 100.
The Event & Operations Lead is a newly created role that has a wide ranging remit across operations, administration, data reporting, project coordination and event support. The postholder will manage an Administrator and ensure that our bookings and rotas are managed efficiently and will deputise for the Head of Administration & Operations as required.
Kangaroos operate a hybrid flexible working policy, with presence required at the hub in Haywards Heath for key meetings. However, we understand that people have busy lives and commitments beyond work, so within reason there are no fixed days or hours - flexibility is encouraged as long as operational needs are met.
