This is a unique role where you will be the brains behind the scenes of each and every event. Working alongside the Director and Event Coordinator, you will help to practically fulfill each client's wishes and ensure that we deliver excellence. You will also manage your own sales account within a prestigious venue.
Duties
1. Procurement and Supplier Relations (Office-Based)
Procurement:
You will ensure that all jobs are stocked and picked correctly prior to being prepped for their event. Managing each supplier to ensure deliveries arrive in a timely fashion and with a keen eye on cost control.
Supplier Relations:
Being in contact with our regular suppliers and engaging with relationships to make sure we make the most of our product base.
Batching:
Prepping cocktails and drinks before they go out to events, making sure that we follow the correct specifications whilst also ensuring quality.
2. Operations & Logistics
Pre-Event Prep:
Coordinate the logistics of fulfillment, including inventory management, staff scheduling, and equipment readiness.
Process Improvement:
Collaborate with the Director to refine our operational workflows, making our event delivery faster, smoother, and more profitable.
3. On-Site Event Hosting (Weekends)
Lead Execution:
Act as the primary point of contact on-site, ensuring the event runs exactly as planned.
Brand Ambassadorship:
Represent Cartails with professional energy, managing the setup, service, and breakdown of our units.
Build/Break:
Creating the set-up and ensuring that we are ready to execute before each event, this may mean manually building the bars alongside the team and creating our infrastructure to ensure seamless execution.

Requirements
Driving License:
Clean UK Driving License is preferred. Access to a car is essential for weekend work.
Experience:
The right candidate will have worked in events/ bartending or both and have a keen understanding of the industry.
Weekend Work:
You will be required to work on weekend days, though we plan well in advance.
Technical Skills:
Software proficiency, using microsoft office, google drive and excel.
Proven experience in management roles within the hospitality or events industry
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently under pressure
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with clients, vendors, and team members
Knowledge of guest service standards and best practices in hospitality settings
Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively
Flexibility to work irregular hours including evenings and weekends as required for events
A proactive attitude with problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 25,000.00-28,500.00 per year
