Role Overview:
Reporting to the Senior Events Producer, this role will be responsible for producing, delivering and running multiple events in the Enable calendar, including Summer in Battersea Park (a multi-weekend programme of free family entertainment and activities), Big Play Out (a free summer event for local children and young people), and other events produced by Enable. Alongside production management, this role will manage the programming of a range of live performances and activities for these events. The Events Production Manager will also coordinate the schools outreach programmes connected to Enable's ticketed events and will support on-site across the full roster of Enable productions.

Main Duties/Responsibilities:
Event Production
Managing the research, development, design, production, programming and delivery of allocated production events
Engaging activity facilitators and performers for event programmes, and creating associated activity and stage schedules
Sourcing and planning event infrastructure and supplier services for outdoor and indoor event sites
Producing all relevant production paperwork, including but not limited to site plans, event safety management plans, and risk assessments
Acting as the appointed site manager and assisting with the physical set up and dismantling of events, including the management of contractors and suppliers and the distribution and return of events equipment / stores and vehicles as required
Booking and managing in-house and casual staff to assist with events and ensuring that all staff and on-site partners are fully briefed
As required, acting as a personal licence holder at events under the relevant venue's premises licence
Community and Stakeholder Partner Relationship Management
Liaising with existing community partners to develop events and projects and strengthen ways of working together
Researching new connections across communities and exploring further opportunities to connect with stakeholder groups within production events
Developing and maintaining excellent processes and policies for working with community volunteers, young people and performance groups
Working with local schools to coordinate educational workshops and activity sessions
Operations
Updating Artifax (scheduling and event management system) with all event details and future event dates
Liaising closely with the Events Team and other park-based services to ensure that production events are coordinated effectively within the wider events and activity schedule
Maintaining a strong knowledge of Enable venues including any restrictions, rules or limitations and implementing these on site
Liaising with suppliers and contractors to ensure that all paperwork is in order and site briefings and policies are clearly communicated
Working closely with the Marketing and Communications team to ensure that each event has a clear communications plan and is promoted to relevant audiences and communities
Working with other Enable teams to explore opportunities for collaboration and connections with other services e.g. leisure, parks, Putney School of Art and Design
Providing excellent customer service and operational management on site to ensure the safety, enjoyment and comfort of all visitors
Admin and Finance
Managing production budgets and regularly updating budgets with all recorded income and expenditure
Proactively seeking feedback from community and stakeholder partners and visitors to production events, and when necessary, escalating queries and complaints to the Senior Events Producer
Line managing events team members throughout full event seasons and supervising a variety of event staff and contractors on-site during build, live and de-rig
Seeking quotes for goods and services in line with Enable's Procurement Code, and raising purchase orders
Carrying out other duties as directed by the senior management
Skills and Experience:
Essential
Proven and demonstrable experience of producing and delivering medium to large-scale public outdoor events
A keen enthusiasm for creating events that celebrate community and connection
Excellent budgeting skills and adaptability in creating impact and excitement within specific financial parameters
Passion for creating events to entertain wide-ranging audiences and diverse communities
Confidence and experience in running large scale event sites, leading on all operations and proactively addressing issues, queries and challenges as they arise
Experience of booking workshop facilitators, activity leaders, artists and community performance groups
Experience of researching, negotiating and coordinating quotes and logistics for event infrastructure and suppliers
Confidence in producing all relevant production paperwork, schedules and briefings
Exceptionally high standards of customer service and attention to detail
Ability to communicate professionally in writing, by telephone or face to face, both internally and externally
Ability to work under pressure across multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively
Excellent team player with experience of line management and supervising event project teams
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel spreadsheets
Flexibility to work weekends, early mornings and late nights as required and ability to manage your time accordingly
Desirable
Experience with Sage or other accounting software
Experience creating event presentation decks on Canva or similar platforms
Experience in premises and event licence application processes
Personal Licence
IOSH trained
CAD trained
Confident driver with clean UK manual driving licence
