Job Description

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented

Events and Sponsorship Sales Coordinator

to support the planning, execution and sponsorship of a range of Conservative Party events including our Spring and Autumn Conferences.



From concept to completion, the coordinator will assist with logistics, managing supplier relations, and ensuring that events are executed seamlessly, delivering an exceptional experience to all participants.



This is a fixed term role until June 2026 with the possibility to extend depending on organisational needs and performance. The role can be based from either our Leeds or London office.


Areas of responsibility



Support the Conference Team in driving sponsorship sales for the Spring Conference, Autumn Conference and Regional Conferences. Identify prospective sponsors and partners, conduct outreach to third-party agencies, and maintain strong commercial relationships throughout the event cycle for events. Assist the organisation of high-profile fundraising events including the Winter Party and Summer Party, supporting ticket sales, liaising with venues, suppliers and preparing briefings. Prepare sponsorship proposals, contracts, sales materials, and event information packs to support commercial activity. Undertake administrative tasks such as sales reporting, CRM updates, invoicing support, and supplier coordination, communicating pipeline movement with management on a weekly basis.

Event Coordination & Logistics




Support the planning and delivery of Conservative Party conferences and events. Support sponsor delivery by ensuring all contracted benefits are fulfilled (branding, exhibition space, digital assets, etc.). Coordinate event logistics for sponsored events including venue arrangements, AV requirements, catering orders, accreditation, photography, branding, and event schedules where required Assist the team to co-ordinate event logistics for the day-to-day running of events including developing detailed event run-sheets and manage event logistics including catering, photography, accreditation, branding, AV, room layouts, table plans on the day and owning the event schedules. Liaise with internal teams and external partners, including venues and sponsors, answering day-to-day questions about the events. Managing day-to-day communications with clients and ad hoc meetings including partner queries. Contribute ideas to develop the event - read industry press and keep up to date with the political climate, knowledge to spot new opportunities. Ensure all agreed processes are adhered to and implemented with excellent attention to detail.

Professional experience and qualifications




1-2 years of sales and/or operational experience of Live events. Experience of managing client expectations and working on site at live events is preferred for this role. Experience of corporate or political events is advantageous. Prior political experience not essential however a sound knowledge of current affairs and political awareness is essential.
