We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring all requests are noted. Serve food and beverages promptly, adhering to food safety standards. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Maintain knowledge of the menu, including ingredients and preparation methods. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, aiming for resolution. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and order accuracy. Keep the dining area clean and organised throughout service periods. Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure all guests are attended to promptly.

Qualifications

Previous restaurant experience is preferred, with a strong background in hospitality. Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is advantageous. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Excellent time management skills to juggle multiple tables efficiently. Strong guest services orientation with an ability to create positive interactions. Experience in upselling menu items is beneficial but not essential. Kitchen or culinary experience is a plus, enhancing understanding of food preparation processes.
