We are looking for enthusiastic and customer focused people to join our Events waiting team at the Hero!


The Hero is a stunning four-storey pub in the heart of Maida Vale offering a different experience on each floor, From weddings and birthdays to corporate gatherings, our events are always something special -- and we need someone who shares our passion for great service to join the team.

Salary- 12.21 per hour + Tips (Earn up to 18 per hour) Must be available to work evenings and weekends

A snapshot of what you'll be doing in Events at The Hero:

Set up and clear down event spaces efficiently Greet guests warmly and ensure they feel welcome Food & drink knowledge, Have a good understanding of the menu, including ingredients and preparation methods, to answer customer queries. Proactively check on guests during the events to ensure guest satisfaction and address any issue that may arise. Collaborative teamwork, Work closely with Events team, kitchen staff and all team members to ensure an efficient service.

About you, our Events Waiting team member at The Hero:

Be available to work evenings and weekends. A team player who's ready to muck in and make every event a success Positive and friendly attitude, with a willingness to work collaboratively with the team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating a positive experience for guests. Flexible approach to work.

Previous experience in events or a high-end, high-volume establishment is preferable but not imperative.
