Job Summary


We are seeking a confident and creative

Events Supervisor

to join our team. This role involves creating and developing our events experiences, enhance brand visibility, and engage target audiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong management, communication, and organisational skills, with a keen eye for marketing trends. This position offers an exciting opportunity to enhance our popular wedding and events program. Reporting to the General Manager you must be available to work up to 30 hours per week including some evenings and weekends to suit the needs of the business

Duties



Be the first contact for prospective wedding couples, building relationships with clients and workshop artists to maximise sales and secure bookings Manage high volumes of enquiries - replying quickly and professionally by telephone or email Conduct show rounds of the garden and buildings highlighting the unique and tranquil space. Plan marketing campaigns for various events across social media and email marketing Develop compelling copy for promotional materials and social media posts Oversee social media management to increase engagement and follower growth across platforms. Work closely with the supervisory team and assist with Duty Cover (carrying out Opening and Closing Procedures), assisting in the Tearoom and at the Ticket Desk if required Liaise with the Garden and Outreach Team to plan and undertake Garden events to highlight the unique beauty, culture and historical nature of the Garden eg Japanese Festival, Seasonal Activities Track campaign metrics Maintain organised records of all marketing activities, budgets, and schedules ensuring timely execution of campaigns.

Qualifications



Proven experience in Event Management, or related roles within Hospitality or Visitor Attractions Strong digital marketing skills including proficiency in

Email marketing

, and

social media management

. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in

English

, with the ability to craft engaging content. Hospitality background beneficial. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (

Word

,

Excel

,

PowerPoint

) with an ability to learn new systems quickly Strong organisational qualities combined with effective time management This varied role provides a stimulating environment for a motivated individual who is creative and able to work on their own initiative
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Up to 26,462.00 per year

Expected hours: No more than 35 per week
