Rate of Pay - 13.60 per hour including holiday pay.

The Bourne Academy we are looking to expand our invigilation team to assist with internal and external exam seasons. This would be an ideal opportunity for someone who is looking for flexible working hours. As an exam invigilator, you will need to be reliable, a good timekeeper, responsible, have good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
The main responsibilities of the job consist of:
Report to and be briefed by the exams officer prior to each exam session
Ensure exam rooms are set up according to the requirements
Admit candidates into exam rooms under formal examination conditions
Give full attention to conducting the examinations properly
Distribute the correct question papers and exam materials to candidates
Instruct candidates in the conduct of their exams
Deal with candidate questions
Start exams
Supervising and observing candidates at all times and be vigilant throughout examinations
Keep disruption in examination rooms to a minimum
Record/report any incidents, disruption or irregularities
Complete attendance
Exams are taken at various times during the academic year, which means working on a casual, as and when required basis. The hours are for morning exams from 8:30am or afternoon exams from 12:30pm. The exams normally range from between 2-3hours, depending on which exam is taking place. You would be able to choose which dates/times you would like to work. This role is paid hourly and is subject to an enhanced DBS check. Proof of Right to Work in the UK will also be required.
