Job Description

EXAM INVIGILATORS

Casual rate of pay 12.21 per hour (plus holiday pay entitlement)

The Wavell School is seeking reliable and punctual individuals to join our invigilation team for the 2026 examination season. As an Exam Invigilator, you will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity of the external and internal examination process.

Key responsibilities:

Assist with the setting up of examination rooms by laying out papers and stationery

Be vigilant throughout the duration of the exam to prevent malpractice or distractions

Collect and sort scripts at the end of the session in accordance with strict security procedures

Act as a reader or scribe for students with specific access arrangements where required

About you:

Reliability: you must be able to commit to start times of 8:00AM and/or 12.45PM

Attention to Detail: Accuracy in following regulations and handling sensitive documents.

Communication: Clear spoken English and good literacy skills.

Experience: relevant experience is desirable but not essential as training will be given.
