JOB DESCRIPTION

ROLE OVERVIEW?

Would you like to support the next generation of commercial pilots? We are looking for professional, reliable, and detail-oriented Exam Invigilators to assist with the delivery of examinations on a flexible, self-employed contractor basis. In this role, you will help ensure that the examination environment is fully prepared in advance, including verifying that candidates have the necessary credentials and permissible materials. During examinations, the invigilator maintains vigilant oversight to uphold compliance and examination integrity throughout.??

ROLE DUTIES?

The invigilation of EASA examinations in strict accordance with the rules and regulations published by the Civil Aviation Authority of Malta. Setting up electronic EAM meetings with Malta CAA well in advance of examination dates. Ensuring that all examination sessions are correctly recorded and uploaded to the Maltese Authority. Close liaison with the local Examinations Manager Leading Edge Aviation Limited. Co-operating with the local Examinations Manager as to the forecasted roster of fellow invigilators. Undergoing initial and periodic training under the auspices of the Civil Aviation Authority Malta. Ensuring the examination room is ready and prepared well in time for the commencement of the examination and that the examinees are in possession of passwords and all other allowable information that they require for the examination. Strict and continuous oversight of all examinations in accordance with the rules and regulations of the CAA Malta.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Essential:

Reliable, punctual, and professional. Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle unexpected situations effectively. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work with students of all backgrounds. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to follow strict guidelines and procedures.
Desirable:

Previous experience as an exam invigilator or in a similar role. Aviation knowledge Basic IT skills (for computer-based exams or online registers).
WORKING HOURS:

Work is offered on a casual, ad-hoc basis according to exam schedules. Flexible and dependent on exam schedules. Morning, afternoon, or full-day sessions may be required. Successful applicants must be available to accept assignments at short notice, where necessary.
Job Types: Part-time, Freelance

Pay: Up to 160.00 per day
