Shoreham Academy are looking for enthusiastic, committed and flexible invigilators to join our Exam team.
This role would suit applicants looking for flexible working during term time school hours with some after-school hours required. Hours and days will vary depending on operational need, however availability between the hours of 8.00am and 4.00pm is required and you will need to be available for a certain number of hours during the key exams period of May and June.
We are seeking professional people with strong spoken and written English skills as well as a good level of IT literacy. Applicants should be reliable and possess a calm but firm approach. Full training will be given, however, experience of working with young people would be an advantage.
The successful applicants will be joining a large staff team of more than 200 staff where support staff make up approximately half of this number.
We ask that applicants demonstrate how they meet the essential / desirable skills and experience within the person specification in your application.

All new employees will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS check with Barred List information prior to working in school. Two satisfactory references are required from all successful applicants, one of which must be the current or most recent employer. Prohibition order checks are undertaken for all newly appointed teachers and support staff who will be engaged in 'teaching work'.
All new employees will be required to complete a medical questionnaire.
