Rugby School is an independent boarding school of approximately 860 pupils and 100 full-time members of the teaching staff. Entry for most boys and girls is at 13, chiefly from preparatory schools via the Common Entrance or Scholarship Examination.
We are seeking an individual with excellent literacy and numeracy skills, who can promote a supportive atmosphere for our students to enable them to achieve their best. Excellent communication skills, an observant eye and attention to detail are essential.
You will need to have a calm nature and work effectively in a busy environment. You will be working as part of a team responsible for the smooth, secure running of allocated exam sessions, working under the direction of the Examinations Officer.
No prior experience is necessary as full training will be given.
Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young persons for who you are responsible and with whom you come into contact.
The hours for this role are expected to be circa 15 per week (Monday to Friday) for up to 14 weeks in January, April, May, June and November.
The hourly rate is 12.60 plus holiday pay.
