The Technical College is located in the purpose-built International Aviation Academy Norwich, an aviation centre of excellence, providing state of the art classrooms and workshops and allowing hands on experience on the live Boeing 737 Classic Generation aircraft. The facility is located near to the maintenance hangars, making it a convenient and inspirational place to study. Our college provides a range of EASA and UK CAA approved technical courses including basic training, type training and apprenticeship programs. We have been providing technical training courses and aircraft apprenticeships to the industry for over 40 years.

The Role



We have an exciting permanent opportunity for the role of Examinations Administrator to join our Technical College team. We are looking for an individual who has an eye for detail and is keen to ensure that examinations within the college run smoothly. This position is based at the International Aviation Academy Norwich and is Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities



Support the College Operations and Examinations Manager in ensuring all examinations and related documentation comply with relevant legislation, regulations and quality standards Maintain accurate records and provide regular updates to relevant team members regarding examinations and results Schedule exams as part of the Technical College Training Programme Oversee and maintain the examination team inbox ensuring timely and appropriate responses Book candidates onto examinations, compile exam papers and marking guides using the approved question bank, and prepare and verify examination packs to ensure accuracy and completeness Meet and greet candidates ahead of examinations, performing all required checks Invigilate examinations including potential travel to internationally for overseas exam sessions. Mark student exam papers and accurately input results in the exam database Email examination results to candidates promptly and produce certificates in accordance with regulatory requirements Conduct post-results analysis on examinations, liaising on improvement points with the College Operations and Examinations Manager as required Provide date for meetings and presentations as required Raise any issues or concerns that arise, working collaboratively to find solutions To adhere to the college safeguarding policy and processes and undertake regular safeguarding training as required.

Selection Criteria



Essential



Possess strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite Be organised and have good attention to detail Have good time management and prioritisation skills Have excellent communication skills

Desirable



Previous experience of working with confidential data, including examinations Qualifications in data management or IT Hold qualifications in Engineering or a related STEM field or have experience working in such environments.
