Exams Officer & Administrator.
The successful candidate will ensure the accurate management and running of all examinations and assessment data and provide administrative support within the academy.
We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, good time management, the ability to multitask and work to tight deadlines. Strong IT skills, specifically in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), are essential, as is the requirement to read, understand and follow examination regulations with precision. Experience of running examinations in a school setting would be a definite advantage but is not essential as training will be provided on all aspects of the role. Successful completion of the Examination Officer training and accreditation will be required.
About our provisions:
We are a specialist Independent School based in Whitchurch, Shropshire, providing education for up to 45 pupils aged 11-18, who are at risk or have experienced sexual exploitation.
The school delivers individualised educational provision to students who require high levels of understanding, consistency and continuity through an integrated therapeutic approach. We also deliver education in two local alternative provisions where some of our pupils reside and receive therapeutic care. Our pupils take a range a qualifications appropriate to their individual needs and may undertake online Functional Skills, GCSEs in a range of subjects, or more vocational pathways.

The Requirements

Good standard of general education with at least GCSE grade 5/C (or equivalent) in Mathematics and English
Excellent comunication and organisations skills and proficiency in ICT programmes such as Word and Excell are a must.
Experience working with young people (Desirable)* A full driving licence - Requirement to drive company vehicles.
