We are seeking a dedicated and organised

part-time

Exams Officer

to oversee the administration and coordination of examinations within our educational institution. The successful candidate will ensure that all exam processes run smoothly, efficiently, and in accordance with regulatory standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in teaching or education to contribute to the academic success of our students while developing their organisational skills in a professional environment.

Please be aware that we are a small exam centre with the capacity for around 14 students to take exams at one time. This role is therefore a small part-time role where the majority of the hours can be hybrid-remote. The role will need to be in-person for the exam sessions. Pay is pro-rata.

Duties



Organise and schedule examination timetables, ensuring all logistical arrangements are in place. Prepare examination venues, including setting up materials and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Liaise with teachers, students, and external examination bodies to facilitate smooth exam administration. Manage the distribution and collection of exam papers, ensuring security and confidentiality at all times. Oversee invigilation arrangements, including recruiting and training invigilators. Handle queries related to examinations from students and staff promptly and professionally. Maintain accurate records of exam entries, results, and related documentation. Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and accreditation requirements.

Experience



Previous experience in an educational setting is desirable, particularly within roles involving organisation or administration. Teaching experience is considered advantageous, providing insight into exam processes from an educator's perspective. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise confidently with staff and students. Proficiency in using standard office software such as Microsoft Office Suite or similar programmes. Ability to work independently with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 20,000.00-30,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 1 - 20 per week
