Job Overview

We are seeking dedicated and skilled excavation teams to support long term contract with network plus on the national grid infrastructure. The successful candidates will be the team leader in a 2 man crew , ensuring safety standards are maintained, and assisting with various site preparation tasks. This roll offers long term work opportunity for individuals and teams its a self employed position working on a 45hr paid week and multiple opportunities for over time

Responsibilities

to run a 2 man digging team working on the highway . carry out site preparation, including digging trenches, joint pits on the highways of torquay and exeter Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with managers and other team members to coordinate tasks efficiently. Follow health and safety regulations at all times to minimise risks on-site. operate tablet systems to keep a track of works in progress Maintain accurate records of work performed and equipment usage throughout each shift.

Qualifications

Proven mechanical knowledge related to excavation machinery ie cscs or npors certification. Experience operating excavators and dumpers Prior experience working on the highway swqr cerficate required the ability to follow instructions precisely. driving licence essential as vehicle is provided Commitment to health and safety standards on all projects.
