Overview

We are seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and demonstrate proficiency in operating excavators for various construction and excavation projects. This role requires a commitment to safety and efficiency while working on-site.

Responsibilities

Operate excavators to dig, move, and grade earth materials according to project specifications. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate excavation activities. Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols while operating machinery. Maintain accurate records of work performed and report any issues or concerns promptly. Assist in the loading and unloading of materials as required.

Experience

Proven experience as an Excavator Operator or similar role is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge, with the ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues. Valid commercial driving licence is an advantage for operating larger vehicles on-site. Familiarity with various types of excavation techniques and equipment is desirable. Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
