Coinford is looking for an experienced

10T Operator

to join a

finishing works gang

on major groundworks projects. This is a long-term opportunity for operators who take pride in precision, finishing, and high-quality machine care.

Key Responsibilities - 10T Operator

Operate a

10T Excavator

safely and efficiently on site Support

finishing works gangs

with external works including:

+ Drainage and service trenches
+ Foundations
+ Road formation
+ Type 1, topsoil, and final grading
Work confidently with

trench boxes, manhole boxes, and drag boxes

Read and follow drawings, levels, and setting-out information Work safely around

live services

, following service-avoidance procedures Carry out

daily pre-start checks

, inspections, and basic machine maintenance Maintain high standards of machine care, greasing, and cleaning Collaborate with engineers, foremen, and gang members to meet programme deadlines

Desirable Experience & Tickets

CPCS / NPORS 360 Excavator (10T+ with Lifting Ops) 5+ years' experience in groundworks or civil engineering Experience in external works and finishing GPS / machine control (Trimble, Leica, or similar) advantageous Additional tickets: Dumper, Roller, Telehandler SSSTS or willingness to work towards

Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious Strong attention to detail and finishing quality Works well within a gang and with site teams Right to work in the UK
