Exchequer Officer



Permanent



36.25 hours per week



Your role:



We are looking for a Transactional Finance Officer to provide a transactional finance service for the Authority, ensuring correct Accounts Payable and Receivable procedures are followed, processing transactions via the Accounting System and Online Banking facilities as appropriate, and registering and matching invoices to purchase orders to ensure timely payments are made to meet organisational Key Performance Indicators and performing regular credit control duties relating to aged debt. The role requires somebody with well-developed verbal and written communication skills, good ICT skills and an ability to prioritise workloads and build strong and trusting relationships with colleagues and key stakeholders.
