Executive Assistant




Aberdeen Performing Arts is seeking a highly organised and proactive Executive Assistant to provide critical support to the Chief Executive and Leadership Team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong grasp of governance processes, exceptional administrative skills, and a commitment to supporting the smooth running of a dynamic, creative organisation.

About the Role


This position has two key areas of focus:

Governance & Board Support



You will play a central role in supporting our governance functions, ensuring that board and committee processes run efficiently and effectively. Responsibilities include:

Coordinating logistics, agendas, and documentation for Board and committee meetings Attending meetings and producing accurate, timely minutes Managing the archive of governance documentation and ensuring compliance standards are met Supporting the coordination of reporting and regulatory submissions

Executive & Operational Support



You will also provide high-level executive support to the Chief Executive and Leadership Team helping to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. This includes:

Acting as a key point of contact for the Chief Executive Managing diaries, meetings, travel, and general coordination across the senior team Supporting internal office systems and workflows Assisting with HR administration, reporting, and wider organisational tasks

About You




We are looking for someone who brings:

Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar senior administrative role, ideally in the arts, charity or not-for-profit sector Confidence in supporting governance and committee processes Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities Strong communication skills, both written and verbal A high level of discretion, professionalism, and attention to detail Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Teams, and virtual meeting platforms A collaborative and flexible working style A commitment to equity, inclusion and supporting a creative workplace

Terms and Benefits
