About the role

The EA role at GSA is a pivotal position that enables Executive Directors to perform at their best through a blend of high-level organisational support, strategic scheduling, and proactive partnership. More than inbox and diary management, this role acts as a trusted adviser ?" anticipating needs, removing barriers, and keeping momentum moving across key priorities.

As the interface between Executive Directors and the wider organisation, the EA ensures clear communication, smooth information flow, and strong governance. Responsibilities include effective and efficient inbox management, coordinating complex diaries and committee work, preparing high-quality documentation, managing communications with discretion, and supporting wider team activity.

This is a role for someone proactive, forward thinking, agile, and highly organised ?" someone who can build strong relationships, represent GSA`s values, and create efficiencies that help leaders focus on strategic decision-making. Ultimately, the EA contributes directly to how GSA delivers for colleagues, partners, and residents.

Please note that if you are successful in this role, we will require a DBS check to be completed. Further details will be sent following offer.

About you

We are looking for someone who can confidently manage heavy workloads, rapidly changing priorities, and high-volume inboxes while providing exceptional support to our Executive Director team. You`ll work alongside the Senior Executive Assistant, in a team of three, taking ownership of complex diaries, coordinating communication, and ensuring the right information reaches the right people at the right time. Adaptability, organisation, and a calm, solutions-focused approach are essential in our fast-paced environment.

If you thrive in busy settings, stay composed under pressure, and enjoy bringing structure to shifting priorities, you`ll be a strong fit for our EA team and play a key role in helping our leaders deliver at their best.
