Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Executive Chef to lead our culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation, kitchen operations, and team management within our establishment. This role requires a creative and organised individual with extensive culinary experience and a strong commitment to food safety and hospitality standards. The Executive Chef will play a pivotal role in maintaining the quality of our offerings while inspiring and supervising staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

Duties

Lead and supervise the kitchen team, ensuring efficient workflow and high standards of food production Develop innovative menus that reflect current trends and customer preferences Oversee all food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and excellence Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling costs to optimise kitchen operations Enforce strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen staff to foster professional growth and teamwork Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery Maintain organisation of kitchen equipment, utensils, and storage areas Monitor quality control throughout the food preparation process

Experience

Proven supervising experience within a professional kitchen environment Extensive background in food production, cooking, and culinary arts Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hospitality settings Experience working in restaurant or similar hospitality environments preferred Competence in food preparation, serving, and maintaining high standards of presentation Previous experience in restaurant management or executive chef roles is highly desirable

Pay: 35,530.00-36,500.00 per year
