As Executive Chef, you'll lead our kitchen team to deliver high-quality, nutritious meals that support residents' health, dignity, and enjoyment of daily life. You'll ensure every dish is safely prepared, beautifully presented, and tailored to individual dietary, cultural, and medical needs.
This role involves menu planning, food safety, stock control, and budget management, while maintaining full compliance with hygiene and regulatory standards. Working closely with care teams, you'll align food service with residents' care plans and preferences--creating a warm, home-from-home dining experience that enhances wellbeing.
Experience and Skills of an Executive Chef
We're looking for an experienced and passionate culinary professional with strong leadership skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional food that enhances the wellbeing of care home residents. You'll have:
Proven experience
managing a kitchen team and planning nutritious, varied menus.
Knowledge of food safety
standards, allergen management, and specialist diets, including modified textures and therapeutic meals.
Excellent organisational skills
with the ability to work collaboratively with care teams and maintain high standards of hygiene, compliance, and cost control.
A positive, adaptable approach and the ability to respond constructively to feedback.

Hours: Contract is 35 hours per week
