Infrastructure Services brings together our IT, Estates and Facilities functions, and together they are delivering our vision for the future of our physical and digital estate at the University of Hull. The capital investment in our estate will further improve our campus facilities and our digital transformation programme is improving the experience of students and staff.
Purpose of role
The Executive Director, Infrastructure Services, is the strategic lead for the development and delivery of high-quality, physical and digital environments that will enable members of our University of Hull community to fulfil their potential whilst ensuring that we are well positioned in the market to continue delivering student growth.

Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership of both the physical and digital estate, bringing together two critical areas of operation to transform the experience of students, staff and stakeholders of the University.
Lead the development and evolution of integrated digital, technology and facilities strategies and roadmaps for the University.
Lead on strategic projects that will deliver significant benefit and impact, in direct support of our ambitious vision.
Lead the development of a high-performance culture within the directorate through clarity of purpose, effective organisation, management, and governance.
Provide clear direction and manage effective working relationships between IT, Estates and Facilities teams to promote collaborative working with shared purpose and aligned activity.
Manage key strategic relationships internally and externally, leading and contributing to committees and networks and representing the University with external organisations and stakeholders as appropriate.
Demonstrate the University values - inclusive, empowering, progressive- and embed these within the Directorate.
