Responsibilities
Supervise and manage the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and high-quality food preparation.
Oversee all aspects of food production, including menu planning, ingredient sourcing, and dish presentation.
Lead by example in cooking techniques and food preparation methods while maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain health standards throughout the kitchen.
Collaborate with management to create innovative menus that cater to diverse customer preferences.
Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive team atmosphere that encourages professional growth.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed to maintain efficient kitchen operations.
Address any issues that arise during service promptly and effectively to ensure customer satisfaction.
Experience
Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar culinary leadership role within a restaurant environment.
Strong background in food production, preparation, and cooking techniques with an emphasis on quality.
Demonstrated supervisory experience with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
Solid understanding of food safety practices and regulations within the hospitality industry.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
