Responsibilities/Duties
To comply with legal requirements and Rosy Apple Childcare Policies and Procedures
Ensure the staff team adhere to policies and procedures
Engage in professional development
Identify training needs within the nursery in conjunction with Operations Manager Education
Be and effective communicator
Responsible for Health and Safety within the nursery , as well as auditing and assessing health and safety.
Ensure quality educational plans are followed
Lead the nursery in providing high standards of provision for children
Engage in positive leadership which encourages staff welfare
Nursery Safeguarding Lead
Positive working with all stakeholders in the company
Lead marketing and business development in conjunction with Operations Manager Business Development
Liaise with senior management team to develop budgets and business plans in line with company development
Work in line with Ofsted Statutory Framework including legal requirements
Effective deployment of staff
Promote equality and diversity through through inclusive practice
Attend networking events promoting the company and nurseries
Have a positive impact on local / national policies and procedures
Monitor and complete audits on iconnect system
Oversee support systems for children with additional needs
Oversee upkeep of the buildings and maintenance , stock, furnishings and fittings
Be responsible for the completion of administrative duties
Be responsible for the recording and collection of fees
Use IT software packages as supplied by the company
Ensure confidentiality of information received in line with company policy
Little Achievers Forest School Nursery is set in an acre of land within a farm within 120 acres of an area of natural outstanding beauty. The role does not necessarily need a leader who is Forest Scholl trained - however this would be desirable. The nursery does have a qualified Forest School Lead.
The role is super-numerary to an extent dependant upon occupancy levels. Uniform, discounted childcare fees, CPD along with other extras are provided.
