As we continue to grow and deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests, we are looking for an enthusiastic and talented Sous Chef to join our team.As Sous Chef, you will play a key role in the kitchen, supporting the Head Chef to deliver high-quality, creative dishes and maintain the standards our guests expect. You will help run daily operations, supervise the kitchen team, ensure consistency in presentation and flavour, and contribute ideas that align with our Spanish-inspired tapas concept.
Key responsibilities include:
Assisting with the planning and organisation of the kitchen, including mise en place, service preparation and daily running.
Leading the kitchen team during service, ensuring dishes are cooked to specification, presented beautifully and served promptly.
Maintaining high standards of food quality, cleanliness, hygiene and health & safety in line with regulatory requirements.
Supporting menu development: working with the Head Chef to refine existing dishes and introduce new tapas-style plates inspired by Spanish flavours.
Monitoring stock levels, assisting with ordering and managing waste to maximise efficiency and profitability.
Training and mentoring junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment.
Being flexible with hours, including evenings and weekends, in line with our trading times and high-volume service.

What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
Proven experience working in a professional kitchen, preferably within a tapas or similar casual-fine dining environment.
Sound culinary skills and a good understanding of flavour, presentation and portion control.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, maintaining attention to detail and consistency.
Leadership skills: able to motivate and support a small kitchen team.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise during service.
A passion for food and drink, aligned with our belief that if it's exciting for you, it's exciting for us.
Good knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety standards.
Flexibility to work shifts including evenings and weekends as required.
