Are you highly organised, detail-oriented, and confident supporting senior leaders at the highest level? We are looking for a dynamic and proactive Executive Support & Wellbeing Coordinator to join our People and Policy team.
This unique hybrid role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys managing complex schedules and communications, and is also committed to fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
What You'll Be Doing
Executive Support

  • Manage the diaries and inboxes of the Leader and Chief Executive, ensuring their time is used effectively.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas and minutes, and support the Leadership Team with key documentation and follow up.
  • Act as a key liaison across departments and with external stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration.
  • Handle sensitive information, complaints, and data requests with professionalism and discretion.
Wellbeing & Inclusion
  • Lead and coordinate wellbeing and inclusion initiatives across the council.
  • Coordinate events and campaigns that promote physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing.
  • Work with HR and staff networks to embed inclusive practices and support systems.
  • Establish and lead a Mental Health First Aid network and safe spaces for staff support.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
  • Minimum 5 GCSEs (Grade 4 or above), including English and Maths.
  • Proven experience in high-level administrative or executive support roles.
  • Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office), diary and inbox management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and discretion.
Desirable:
  • Level 3 qualification in administration or wellbeing/inclusion.
  • Experience in supporting senior leadership.
  • Experience in coordinating wellbeing activities and strategies.
