We're recruiting for a Expense Accountant - Group Protection (12 months maternity cover) to join us. We're offering acompetitive base salary.

We're looking for an Expense Analyst to join our Group Protection Finance team, where you'll play a key role in helping us meet our financial targets through insightful analysis and proactive financial support. What you'll be doing:
Producing monthly and quarterly reports to support senior management decision-making
Managing reconciliation and analysis of Insurance MER data and expense forecasts
Supporting the development and tracking of business cases and investment portfolios
Monitoring monthly spend and processing accruals across cost centres
Providing accurate and timely information for quarterly forecasts
Maintaining financial controls and ensuring compliance with audit requirements
Assisting managers and executives in understanding financial perspectives
Supporting fair customer outcomes through effective finance processes and systems
Qualifications
Who we're looking for:
Ideally part-qualified accountant with strong analytical skills
Good understanding of financial services and UK life insurance regulations
Experience with financial planning, forecasting, and expense tracking
Advanced skills in spreadsheets, databases, and financial modelling tools
Ability to communicate clearly and influence across all levels
Strong judgement and analytical thinking in a fast-paced environment
Collaborative mindset with flexibility to adapt to change
Commitment to ethical standards and customer fairness
