We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Supervise and manage kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to food safety protocols. Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients. Assist in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Ensure all dishes are presented beautifully and served at the correct temperature. Uphold high standards of hospitality by providing exceptional service during meal preparation.

Experience

Proven experience as a Line Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant setting. Strong culinary skills with knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines. Experience in supervising or managing kitchen staff is highly desirable. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
