Summary

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team in Nottingham. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring efficient materials handling and logistics operations, contributing to our commitment to high standards and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials around the site. Load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas. Ensure proper handling of materials to prevent damage. Maintain equipment by performing basic repairs and reporting issues. Assist with inventory management using warehouse management systems. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times. Perform heavy lifting as required.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or similar role. Valid forklift operator certification. Strong knowledge of materials handling procedures. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks. Basic mechanical knowledge is preferred. Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus. Good communication skills and teamwork abilities.
