Overview

Experienced and detailed-oriented Floor Layers required on a Sub-Contract basis for an established Flooring Contractor based in Warrington, Cheshire, with an extensive portfolio of work nationally, specialising in a wide range of markets including:-

Commercial Residential Retail Health & Medical Social Housing Industrial Care & Retirement Homes Education (Schools and Universities) Local Government New Build
The successful candidates will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of flooring in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with an extensive background in flooring to utilise their skills in a dynamic environment. Candidates must be committed to safety, quality workmanship, and punctuality.

Responsibilities

Must be fully conversant in all aspects of flooring to include:-

LVT/Amtico installations Screeding Carpet tiles and broadloom carpet Vinyl's and safety vinyl's Coved skirting Marmoleum Epoxy Flooring (experience preferred but not essential) Carpets & Bespoke Carpets / Traditional Fits Carpet Tiles Luxury Vinyl Tiles Hygienic Wall Cladding (experience preferred but not essential)

Qualifications

Proven experience in flooring installation essential. References from previous employers required. Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in flooring work Knowledge of above flooring installations Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments Relevant certifications or training in construction or flooring installation are desirable CSCS or SSSTS essential
Attractive salary available for the successful applicant, along with Company Vehicle. Min 40 hour week.

Note: There may be element of out of hours, weekend working, and working away from home required for this role for which you will be paid a generous overtime rate of 1.5 to 2 X hourly pay.

Full UK Driving Licence required (maximum 3 penalty points).

Pay: 180.00-200.00 per day
